blog number 2

ok, i really need to start a blog about things other than college. but i can put all of that aside (for now) to talk about the concept of web 2.0. what web 2.0 boils down to is this: a new way for internet users to enhance the web that everyone uses with their own creative methods. different examples of web 2.0 include wikis and this blog that i'm typing. another way of talking about web 2.0 is that individual users can alter or modify web 2.0 applications such as wikipedia. for this reason it is unacceptable to write a term paper with wikipedia as the source, since anyone could write a false article. on the up-side of web 2.0, it allows users to view other people's opinions and to get different perspectives on subjects, factual and otherwise, that would not be available through the normal web. the use of web 2.0 is constantly changing the way we, the users, view the web and access information. it is a huge step in furthering the ways we communicate with others and enhance the way the world views the internet.
